Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Becton Dickinson seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Pyxis ES Development team to design and deliver enterprise software solutions. The role requires full-stack development expertise with modern technologies and experience in microservices architecture across on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software following coding guidelines for optimal performance and maintainability
- Evaluate and test own software, peer code, and third-party solutions
- Provide technical documentation for design, implementation, and testing processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product engineering projects
- Use source control and work tracking tools; identify and repair software errors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM field
- 5+ years R&D experience with coding in Java, C, C++, or C#
- Full-stack engineering experience (front-end and back-end)
- Proficiency with multiple database implementations (MySQL, SQL Server, non-relational)
- Experience with Go, Java, React, Node.js, Spring, or Ruby
- Knowledge of containerization, microservices, and cloud-native environments
- Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, TLS/PKI, and OAuth 2.0
