Phlebotomist Floater
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist floater to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple Chicago-area locations. The role involves patient interaction, data entry, and administrative tasks with a flexible schedule including rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Collect blood specimens using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain accurate patient and specimen documentation
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients
- Provide customer service and perform data entry of patient information
- Travel between assigned sites in Chicago, Woodridge, Niles, Skokie, and Westchester as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum three months phlebotomy experience or two years preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- At least 21 years old
