Job Overview A law firm seeks a USPTO-registered Patent Attorney with expertise in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field to join their team in Raleigh, NC. This role offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work arrangements. Duties Conduct patent prosecution in the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology. Collaborate with clients to develop patent strategies. Draft and review patent applications and related documents. Provide counsel on intellectual property matters. Requirements Minimum of three years of patent prosecution experience. Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant field preferred. Admission or qualification for admission to the state bar of the primary office location. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Education Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field preferred. Certifications USPTO registration required. Skills Proficiency in technical writing. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Familiarity with both software and biological fields.
