2026-27 AY Lecturer Pool - Strategy & Entrepreneurship

Position Details Job no: 553836. Work type: Instructional Faculty – Temporary/Lecturer. Location: Sacramento. The Department of Strategy & Entrepreneurship seeks part‑time lecturers to teach courses in Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Strategic Management in the BS/BA and MBA programs. Responsibilities Teach assigned courses (instruction, class preparation, grading). Conduct office hours (45 minutes per week per 3‑unit course). Participate in departmental activities as directed. Coordinate course assignments, schedules and modality under the Department Chair’s direction. Qualifications Required: MBA or equivalent (or JD for law‑related courses). Availability to teach and hold office hours face‑to‑face. Preferred Qualifications Degree received from an AACSB accredited institution. Five years related work experience. Rank and Salary Initial rank and salary are determined by the hiring department. Most new lecturers are hired at Lecturer A or Lecturer B rank. As of July 2024, the classification salary ranges for the respective ranks are: Lecturer A (full‑time rate 15 WTUs). Example calculation for 3 units at minimum salary: $5,507 × 3/15 = $1,101.40 per check × 6 checks = $6,608.40 per semester. (Complete range per rank can be provided in a table if needed.)
