Production Planner II

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner II for a direct-hire opportunity in San Fernando, CA within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a planning professional with 1-2 years of experience who enjoys coordinating production schedules, solving inventory challenges, and working cross-functionally to keep operations running smoothly. The Production Planner II will play a key role in developing daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory requirements, and available capacity. Create daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to support timely and efficient manufacturing operations. Identify material shortages, scheduling conflicts, and inventory discrepancies, then coordinate action plans to resolve them. Partner with internal teams, including production, inventory, shipping, receiving, purchasing, and customer support, to align planning priorities. Prepare and coordinate pull sheets for raw materials to support production needs. Communicate schedule updates, shortages, and operational changes to internal and external stakeholders. Compensation and Benefits Direct-hire opportunity. Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
