Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations on eligible patients using Philips MRI systems, adhering to established protocols and safety standards
- Screen patients for contraindications, obtain consent as required, and monitor patients during imaging
- Properly position patients and coils, optimize imaging parameters, and minimize artifacts to ensure diagnostic-quality studies
- Administer contrast agents per protocol and orders, monitor for adverse reactions, and document any observations
- Enter and verify study data in the EMR (Epic) and communicate results with radiologists and referring clinicians
- Maintain compliance with department policies, including scheduling requirements, no on-call obligations, and flexibility to meet unit and patient-care needs

Requirements
- Active ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification; MR advanced licensure required
- BLS certification required
- Philips MRI experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (nonnegotiable)
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience; teaching-hospital experience required
- Prior travel experience preferred
