A Day in the Life of a Lead Automotive Mechanic:

• Work under the guidance of the Director of Operations
• Perform and oversee all maintenance on CLC vehicles, including:
  • Oil changes
  • Tire repair and replacement
  • Drivetrain and general mechanical repairs
  • Ensure all vehicles receive routine maintenance and scheduled inspections
  • Oversee all inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance activities for the CLC fleet
  • Maintain strong working relationships with outside vendors for parts and supplies
  • Assist the Director of Operations with negotiating services necessary to meet fleet needs
  • Ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and operational to support CLC programs
  • Complete other assigned duties as needed to support fleet operations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check upon hire
• Valid driver's license
• Associate's degree preferred or 10 years experience in automotive mechanics
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and climb
• Have the ability to work in changing environments
