Seeking Experienced Digital Marketing Assistant Location: Rancho Mirage, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in-office / 2 days remote) W2 Position Hours: 25-40 hours/week Rate: $20-$30/hour DOE At Indigo Marketing Agency, we don’t just “do marketing,” rather we build brands that stand out. We are looking for a high‑energy, high‑initiative Marketing Assistant to join our Palm Springs team. This isn’t a “grab the coffee” internship; it’s a “get your hands dirty” role where you’ll be trained to become a powerhouse asset for our agency. What Does a Digital Marketing Assistant do? Be a Creative Chameleon: Jump into photography, writing, video editing, or ad management wherever the team needs you. Master AI Tools: Lean into the future. Use AI to streamline workflows, spark creative ideas, and stay ahead of industry trends. Execute Campaigns: Help take projects from “cool idea” to “live on the web.” What We’re Looking For The “Initiative” Factor: You’ve started something on your own—perhaps a YouTube channel, photography side‑hustle, blog, or helped grow a local business. Show us your “thing.” Educational Background: A college degree is required. We have a soft spot for College of the Desert (Technical/Design) or UC Riverside (Palm Desert) alumni. Creative Portfolio: Provide writing samples, a design portfolio, or a reel of videos you’ve edited. AI Enthusiast: Comfortable with ChatGPT or Midjourney and applying them to boost productivity by up to 10x. Local Resident: Must live within the Coachella Valley (between Palm Springs and Indio) and be able to attend the office 3 days a week. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Journalism, or related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. “No task too small” attitude and eagerness to learn. Must be based full-time in the Coachella Valley area.
