Specialty Representative, Gastroenterology - North Manhattan, NY

Field-based specialty pharmaceutical sales role focused on gastroenterology in North Manhattan. The position involves executing brand strategy, managing territory accounts, and building customer relationships while meeting sales performance targets and clinical expertise requirements.
Responsibilities
- Execute brand strategy and achieve sales performance targets, KPIs, and financial objectives
- Develop call plans using SMART objectives and manage territory coverage to maximize customer access
- Build trusted relationships with specialty physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare providers
- Gather and communicate market intelligence on competitors, customer needs, and disease landscape
- Identify and develop disease state experts and clinical advocates to enhance brand performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum five years industry experience with three years in pharmaceutical/health/science sector
- Proven track record in sales with strong presentation and relationship-building skills
- Leadership experience with demonstrated success in sales performance and increased responsibility
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and safe driving requirements
- Healthcare industry representative (HCIR) credential eligibility and background check clearance
