Director, Franchise Development

Develop and execute a comprehensive franchise lead outreach strategy to achieve annual growth targets Source, qualify, and close new franchise candidates through proactive outreach and strategic networking for one or more portfolio brands Create and refine Ideal Franchisee Profiles to target qualified prospects Conduct market mapping and territory analysis with the real estate team to identify high-potential growth areas Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads Guide candidates through the full sales lifecycle from initial contact through signing Deliver compelling brand presentations and discovery day experiences Partner cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and executive leadership to ensure successful onboarding and territory planning Maintain accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking Represent the brand at industry events, expos, and networking opportunities Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in franchise development Demonstrated success in sourcing, influencing, and closing franchise agreements Strong experience creating Ideal Franchisee Profiles and executing market mapping strategies Proven ability to “hunt” for qualified leads and build a high-conversion pipeline Experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales and development goals Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and disciplined Strong organizational and CRM management skills Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills A “hunter” mentality Resilient and persistent with a competitive drive Relationship-builder with strong influence and persuasion abilities Ability to manage multiple territories and priorities simultaneously Comfortable with accountability and performance metrics Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in franchise development, including sourcing, qualifying, and closing franchise candidates while executing market mapping strategies.
