Experienced, Patient Centered Physician Assistant Needed for Busy Physician-Owned Internal Medicine Practice- Duluth, Ga. No Call or Weekends!

Well-established Primary Care practice in Gwinnett County, Ga. with affiliations to Northside and Emory facilities seeks to add a Physician Assistant with 2+ years of experience to join our team of caring and capable providers.

Since 2003 our Practice has built a reputation of providing excellent medical care with sincere compassion. We are seeking equally talented people with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills to join our staff.

Work Location:

In Person; Fulltime- 5 days a week with one afternoon off; convenient location near to Northside Duluth Hospital.

Responsibilities are provided under the direction of a supervising physician and include, but are not limited to:

• * Examining, evaluating, and treating patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, illness or injuries

• * Reviewing medical histories to understand patients' present health concerns

• * Performing routine exams and/or ordering tests and assessments

• * Reviewing the results of lab work and diagnostic tests

• * Ordering prescriptions and medications

• * Developing and managing treatment and wellness plans

Requires:

• * Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program

• * Georgia State licensure as a Physician Assistant

• * 2+ Previous experience in Internal Medicine or a related specialty

• * Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems; experience with E Clinical Works (ECW) a plus

• * Excellent clinical and communication skills and a commitment to excellence and patient support

Benefits and Compensation:

• Competitive compensation ($130,000 to $140,000 base) with bonus Opportunity of $10,000 to $15,000 per year.
