Onsite for onboarding, then highly flexible: This role is based out of the Chattanooga HQ for the first 1–2 weeks (training & orientation onsite), then transitions to ~95% remote, with occasional onsite meetings as needed. Must live in the metro Chattanooga region, or within 50-100 miles maximum in order to commute to the office if last minute and/or unplanned on occasion. We’re partnering with a professional services residential brand to bring on a detail-oriented Associate Editor (Temp) to support high-volume customer-facing materials across marketing and fulfillment. What You’ll Do Proofread and edit customer communications including welcome/renewal letters, invoices, and policy documents Ensure accuracy across grammar, formatting, branding, and legal/compliance language Validate inclusion of required DISCLAIMERS, state-specific mandates, and regulatory content Audit materials and data tables to ensure 100% accuracy and zero errors Collaborate with internal teams to correct inconsistencies and maintain brand standards Track updates and ensure all revisions are properly implemented What We’re Looking For 2+ years of editing / proofreading experience (agency experience a plus) Strong attention to detail — you catch what others miss Experience working with Adobe Acrobat + Microsoft Word Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment Solid grasp of grammar, structure, and editorial standards Comfortable working with regulated or compliance-driven content Nice to Have Background in advertising or marketing agency environments Experience reviewing branded or customer-facing materials Familiarity with print production and layout standards Chattanooga, TN / North Georgia area (local candidates preferred for initial onboarding + occasional onsite meetings) If you’re a sharp editor who enjoys refining content to the highest level of accuracy and consistency, I’d love to connect — feel free to message me directly or apply here. #J-18808-Ljbffr
