RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR. CMAs must bring their own stethoscope. This clinic needs a reliable CMA for this role. Required skills/certs/exp: Minimum years of experience: 2 years. Minimum experience required: traveler experience. Clinic will accept 1st time travelers. Locals accepted/rate difference: yes. Work settings skills required: adult outpatient clinic. Clinic specialties skills required: internal medicine. Vital signs skills required: height/weight, obtain vital signs, pulse oximetry & vision testing. Set up & assist with procedures skills required: pap smear. Specimen collection skills required: throat, urine - UA/clean catch & venipuncture. Laboratory tests skills required: blood glucose via glucometer, pregnancy, strep & urine dipstick/urinalysis. Office duties skills required: authorization forms, chart preparation, pharmacy calls/patient refill requests & stocking supplies. Professional knowledge and skills required: follow-up phone calls, rooming patients & suture removal. Certs: BLS, CMA or RMA preferred skills/certs/exp: work setting skills: private physician's office. Prepare for exam skills: positioning/draping & record history/medications/allergies. Injections: immunizations. Professional knowledge and skills: administration of TB test & ear lavage. Job details: visits/day: 5; rooms/beds: 2. Shift: 40 hours can be offered. Will accept 13 weeks. 8-hour shift: 07:00 - 16:00; Monday - Friday. High demand clinic days are Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays (no call outs); Tuesday & Thursdays are lighter days but still in clinic. Call requirement: none. Float requirement: none. Weekend requirement: none. Patient diagnoses: wellness visits for patient, sick visit, follow-up, hospital follow-up & meds refill. Special procedures/unit details: pap smear & injections. Special equipment: CMAs must bring their own stethoscope. Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC. Scheduling type: per clinic needs. Monday-Friday, 07:00 - 16:00. Clinic orientation: 8 hours of clinic orientation. Scrubs: not provided.
