Registered Radiology Technologist

A caregiver in this position works days, 7:30am—4:00pm or 11:30am—8:00pm w/on call requirements. Weekends required. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures. Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay. Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS. Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation. Maintain documentation. Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator. Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist Physical Requirements: Requires frequent and long durations of standing and walking. Visual acuity including the ability to distinguish colors. Manual dexterity sufficient to manipulate blood drawing equipment and make measurements. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $29.00 Maximum hourly: $44.50 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
