Medical Assistant – Beverly Hills, CA

Pay: $25.00–$31.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
No nights, weekends, or major holidays

About the Position

We are seeking a professional, skilled, and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have excellent blood draw skills and experience working in an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine practice.

This position requires someone who is comfortable performing both clinical and administrative duties , has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, including obtaining and documenting vital signs.
• Administer vaccines as directed by physicians and maintain accurate documentation.
• Perform blood draws, assist with EKGs, collect specimens, and perform other clinical procedures as needed.
• Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient documentation and management.
• Assist with ICD coding and medical terminology as needed.
• Schedule appointments and assist with medical records and billing.
• Answer phones and respond to patient messages professionally and courteously.
• Communicate with patients regarding questions, concerns, and follow-up needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient office environment.
• Provide Basic Life Support when necessary and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Support the physician and healthcare team with daily office operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, hospital, or urgent care setting.
• Experience in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred .
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and safety protocols.
• Excellent blood draw/phlebotomy skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems; EPIC experience is a plus .
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Excellent patient service and interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS certification required.
