Operational FunctionThis is an operational function on a four member team that will include the identification of poorly written queries and working with end users via email, one to one phone conversations and conference calls to discuss the queries and the business requirements so that an appropriate SQL solution can be recommended and coded based on the technology and database design.Top 5-10 responsibilities for this position:Monitors system alerts related to end users sql queriesWorks exclusively with business end users in tuning sql queriesThe majority of the queries are very complex in nature and the end users being at various skill levels (i.e. beginner - data scientist) so good communication skills are requiredPrioritizes and organizes own work to meet deadlines as we have SLAs to meetProvides explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise both within the team and with the customers.
