Staff Nurses are responsible for the following: Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice. Practices safe medication administration and assesses patient responses to medication. Participates in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination. The Staff Nurse will provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and complete all required documentation. Qualifications for this position include: BSN Degree preferred State Issued RN license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and ACLS Two years recent RN experience in specialty CEN, CCRN or proof of ECCO required Trauma course preferred The orientation is 4 shifts (2 TJUH, 1 Methodist, 1 JHN). • Minimum Commitment = = 48 hrs per 6 week period Up to 24 hrs 50% of commitment will be scheduled on the weekend, as needed, Friday 7pm to Monday 7am 3 major holiday or premium days per year Work Shift Rotating (United States of America) Worker Sub Type Regular Employee Entity Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc.
