Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Join a hospital Cath/EP lab team in Sanford, FL as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and perform vital diagnostic tests and procedures. Operate advanced imaging and interventional equipment to capture data and support physicians and clinical staff in delivering high quality cardiac care.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist or RCIS preferred.
• Technologist must obtain ARRT or RCIS certification within 3 years of hire if not already ARRT certified.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital Cath Lab setting required.
• Experience with cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures including PCI, TAVR, Watchman, peripheral interventions, Impella and balloon pump preferred.
• Familiarity with equipment: GE fluoroscopy systems, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, AngioJet, Penumbra preferred.
• Experience using Mac Lab and MediTech documentation systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• RCIS (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification from CCI preferred.
• Experience with electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures, circulating and scrubbing for EP cases preferred.
• Prior experience floating to holding areas or EP lab within scope of practice preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00-16:30.
• Schedule may include 4-10 or 5-8 hour cath lab day shifts with late stays and on-call rotation.
• May float to holding, EP lab, or other areas within scope of practice.
• Typical patient ratios: 1:1 or 2:1.

As a traveling Cath Lab Tech, you will support a full-service cardiovascular program that includes interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and cardiac rehabilitation. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver procedural and diagnostic services that improve patient outcomes in the community.
