Technical Specialist

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Technical Specialist for one of our premier clients. He or she will be responsible for the support of 500 internal users. This person will manage, resolve, and update tickets from the queue and elevate them as needed. The Technical Specialist will provide remote and in person support, so they need to be prepared to have people walk up to their desk so customer service skills must be strong. Ideally this person will be able to diagnose and troubleshoot basic software problems, install update upgrades, and provide software support from installing basic hardware, software, and networking components to meet user's needs. In addition, this person will be documenting and deploying hardware and software. He or she may also have to move various PC's and other PC related equipment as needed for user relocation or new office setups. This company functions with Genuis Bar type of help desk where people come in and out for help ranging from personal device, to printer setups, and more. This role will be onsite 5 days a week in the Houston area. There will be an on call rotation but the team and manager compensates any overtime worked into the following weeks schedule. Skills and Requirements 3+ years of experience in a Help Desk, Service Desk or Desktop Support role providing in person and remote end user support. Strong Windows troubleshooting skills Desktop imaging experience Experience working with a ticketing system diagnosing, prioritizing, and documenting issues Multi-function device troubleshooting (printer, scanner, copiers) Experience troubleshooting Citrix A+ and Networking + Certification or any other type of service desk certification #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
