Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments through physical examinations and detailed history reviews
• Participate in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work synergistically with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, ensuring the operating room is prepared, patients are positioned correctly, and instruments are passed efficiently
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Strong preference for completion of clinical rotations with surgical focuses

Certifications

• Possession of a current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
