Position Title: Senior Analyst Financial SystemsPosition SummaryThe Senior Analyst Financial Systems supports the development, enhancement, and ongoing optimization of financial reporting, data, and automation solutions within JetBlue's Finance organization. The primary focus of this role will be identifying opportunities to automate manual Finance processes, developing scalable data and reporting solutions, and supporting recurring and ad hoc reporting needs across Accounting and Finance.The ideal candidate is a strong hands-on technical contributor with experience using Python, SQL, and business intelligence tools to solve business problems and improve financial processes. This role will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, IT, and Data Engineering teams to understand business requirements, develop and maintain automated solutions, improve access to financial data, and reduce reliance on manual processes and spreadsheets.The Senior Analyst will support a broad portfolio of Finance Systems initiatives spanning financial reporting, passenger and ticket tax reporting, revenue accounting, accounts payable, payroll, and other Finance processes. The role requires the ability to understand existing business processes and data sources, translate business needs into practical technical solutions, and independently develop, test, document, and support those solutions.Essential ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain automated Finance processes and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, and other available technologiesIdentify manual, repetitive, or inefficient Finance processes and design scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and controlDevelop Python-based automation to transform, validate, reconcile, and process financial and operational dataWrite, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries supporting recurring reporting, data analysis, reconciliations, and Finance processesDevelop and maintain Tableau dashboards and other reporting solutions that provide Finance stakeholders with timely and actionable informationBuild and support data pipelines and recurring reporting processes using data from multiple financial and operational systemsSupport the automation and enhancement of reporting processes that utilize RAPID and other operational data sourcesPartner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to understand existing processes, reporting requirements, pain points, and opportunities for automationTranslate Finance business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements and develop solutions in partnership with IT and Data Engineering where appropriatePerform data analysis and reconciliation to validate the completeness and accuracy of automated processes and reporting outputsSupport Finance reporting and automation processes across areas including passenger taxes, revenue accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and other Controller functionsMonitor existing automated processes, data pipelines, queries, and dashboards; troubleshoot issues and implement enhancements as business requirements changeDevelop ad hoc reporting, queries, and analyses to support Accounting, Finance, and operational business needsSupport user acceptance testing, validation, implementation, and deployment of new Finance Systems solutions and enhancementsCreate and maintain business and technical documentation, process guides, data definitions, and support procedures for developed solutionsPartner with Finance Systems team members to establish reusable development practices and expand automation and self-service capabilities across FinanceAssist Managers and Directors with data-driven, technical, automation, or systems-related projects as requiredOther duties as assignedMinimum Experience and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
