You will work with manufacturing teammates and supervisors in an onsite second-shift role (1:30 PM–10:00 PM) to ensure quality, throughput, and continuous improvement.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamSet up and run production machines, perform operations such as cutting, shaping, deburring, forming, drilling, and reamingMake machine adjustments, report issues, and rework parts as needed to meet specificationsPerform tapping, spot-facing, chamfering, countersinking, and counterboring to close tolerancesAlign and fasten parts using standard fixtures and established methodsAdjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to machine quality parts per documentationRemove burrs and finish parts to specificationInspect parts using measuring instruments, gauges, comparators, and magnification equipmentPerform routine equipment maintenance and keep work area clean and orderlyPerform statistical process control (SPC) tasks and participate in lean initiativesHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleMinimum of two years of related machining experienceAbility to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructionsWorking knowledge of machine shop mathematics (may include trigonometry)Demonstrated ability to apply lean concepts and toolsEffective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a teamAbility to use job-specific software applications and employee self-service systemsHere's What Else Might Help You OutExperience with SPC and lean manufacturing practices beyond basic applicationPay Range$22.00 - $25.37/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
