Administrative Assistant (Engineering)

Start your new career as an Engineering Administrative Assistant with MAU at our client in Pendleton, SC. As an Engineering Administrative Assistant, you will provide critical administrative and operational support to the Engineering Services team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a temporary opportunity.

What We're Looking For:

Previous administrative experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environment preferred
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with SAP or similar systems preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Professional communication skills when interacting with employees, contractors, and vendors
Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience
Experience supporting maintenance, engineering, or operations teams is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset

What You'll Do as an Engineering Administrative Assistant:

Provide administrative support to the Engineering Services department
Maintain department files, reports, records, and documentation
Coordinate associate timekeeping, attendance, and training records
Support scheduling and calendar management for department leadership
Enter and maintain data in SAP, AMMS, and other internal systems
Assist with preventive maintenance documentation and tracking
Update department communication boards and reporting tools
Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and operational documents
Coordinate contractor check-in processes and maintain compliance documentation
Support department safety committees and related activities
Assist with mailing and tracking environmental and legal documentation
Partner with payroll and other departments as needed
Perform additional administrative duties to support engineering operations
