General Manager

Club ManagerResponsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club. Essential duties and responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising team members; member service oversight; high involvement in front desk tasks; providing support for team members and club members; creating and maintaining a positive image for the club; coaching and counseling performance; ensuring prompt opening/closing of gym; ensuring staff are aware and trained on all current marketing promotions; finishing manager portion of onboarding for all new hires; ensuring the club is open and staffed during all hours of business; ensuring self and team members are implementing and adhering to all company policies and procedures; and responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory.Essential behavior requirements include customer service, listening, problem solving, diplomacy, and communication.Minimum qualifications include honesty and good work ethic, at least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience, strong customer service skills, strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, and basic computer proficiency.Physical demands include standing and walking at least 75% of the shift, talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift, and must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.Benefits include dollars for scholars program, employee appreciation program, free membership for self and one family member or friend, team member support team, health, dental, and vision insurance, critical illness insurance, short term disability insurance, accident insurance, voluntary life insurance, pet insurance, HSA, and advancement opportunities.
