Cardiovascular Technologist II

Role Summary: The Cardiovascular Technologist II assists physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases through invasive procedures, primarily basic diagnostic catheterizations and interventions. They serve as a resource to staff, ensuring quality patient care. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience. Certification as AART, RCIS, or RCES from CCI. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross. Key Responsibilities Assist physicians in invasive cardiovascular procedures. Provide support and guidance to staff. Maintain safety standards and accurate documentation. Physical & Sensory Requirements Continuous standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, and fine motor skills; ability to exert force; good vision, hearing, tactile, and olfactory senses; ability to work in confined, elevated, or indoor environments. Work Environment Frequent rotating shifts, overtime, and working in a latex-safe environment.
