Position Summary As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager , you will play a pivotal leadership role in supporting the strategic and day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for luxury hospitality and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams. You will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Assist in managing and mentoring a dynamic housekeeping team, promoting a culture of collaboration, respect, and service excellence. Lead daily briefings, assign tasks, and ensure optimal staffing and workflow. Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training initiatives. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to support professional growth. Operational Excellence Oversee daily operations to ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet Viceroy’s luxury standards. Conduct detailed inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. Monitor inventory levels and manage supply requisitions efficiently. Guest Experience & Service Recovery Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring swift resolution and follow-up. Collaborate with Front Office and Concierge teams to deliver seamless, personalized service. Uphold Viceroy’s commitment to guest satisfaction through proactive service and attention to detail. Safety, Security & Compliance Enforce all health, safety, and sanitation protocols in accordance with resort and regulatory standards. Train staff in chemical handling, equipment use, and emergency procedures. Ensure the security of guest belongings and resort property through vigilant oversight. Standards & Continuous Improvement Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to their ongoing refinement. Analyze inspection trends and guest feedback to drive quality improvements. Partner with Engineering to address maintenance issues and support preventative care. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and hospitality standards. Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Location: Base Village, Snowmass Village CO Start Date: ASAP Employment Status: FullTime, Year Round Pay Rate: $28 to $30 Hourly Schedule: Require Flexibility Fill by May 15th 2026 Open until Filled Minimum Requirements Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds. Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and in various environmental conditions.
