Counselor

Job Summary Provide mental health counseling for students; presents outreach and educational programs to the University community to support the mental wellbeing of students, faculty, and staff of the university. Job Description Provides professional mental health counseling to students in the form of individual, group, and couples therapy. Provides crisis intervention for students experiencing a psychological emergency. Consults with academic departments and student affairs departments. May be involved in crisis prevention, or aiding with adjustment problems after a major life event. Maintains confidential records. Job Responsibilities We require: 3 years of experience Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy Licensed in Mississippi or License-Eligible in Mississippi. Must have MS license in hand by first day of work.
