UNC Boylan Healthcare at North Hills is seeking a full-time primary care physician, BC/BE in Family Medicine. With a focus on preventive health care, they detect and modify risk factors before they lead to serious illness in adults 18 and older. They offer a wide range of convenient on-site services, using the most advanced technology and equipment. They are recognized by the American Heart Association Heart/Stroke program and the American Diabetes Association Physician program. They have been caring for the people in our community for almost 50 years, building trusting relationships with their patients.

• Acute illness care
• Biopsies
• Bone density scans
• Cardiac stress testing
• Gynecology
• Immunizations
• IV therapy
• Laceration repair
• Management of chronic health conditions
• Medical acupuncture
• Mole, wart and skin lesion removal
• Physical exams
• Pulmonary function testing
• Nuclear treadmill testing

Qualifications:

• Training from an accredited Family Medicine Program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active, unrestricted NC Medical License or the ability to obtain

Other information:

Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: DEA;ACLS;MD

Professional Experience Requirements: Prefer prior experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Reasoning Ability: High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Family Medicine.
