Compensation & Benefits Compensation for the initial 3‑month trial period will be discussed during the interview process. Assist dentists chairside during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Take and develop dental X‑rays, including 3D scans, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Manage patient records using EMR systems such as Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs and medical history to assess patient readiness for treatment. Provide comprehensive patient education on dental procedures, oral hygiene practices, and post‑treatment care. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist. Qualifications License & Certification: Basic life support, driver’s license, registered dental assistant / certified dental assistant. Software Experience: Dentrix. Clinical Experience: General dentistry. Years of Professional Experience: Experienced dental assistant with 1+ years of practice. Experience Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry procedures. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Proficiency with EMR systems like Dentrix for managing medical documentation and records. Ability to perform X‑ray procedures safely while adhering to radiation safety standards. Experience assisting with pediatric dentistry cases is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical coding, and dental assisting best practices. Certification in radiography (X‑ray) is required; additional certifications in pediatric dentistry or prosthodontics are a plus. Preferences X‑ray / Radiography Certification.
