Job Overview: A law firm seeks an experienced Associate to join its Corporate practice in Redwood City, CA. The role involves working with emerging companies and private capital transactions within the innovation economy. Responsibilities Lead transaction execution and manage deal processes. Draft and negotiate principal transaction documents. Serve as day‑to‑day contact for founders, executives, and investment professionals. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across practices and offices. Mentor junior associates and contribute to practice growth. Participate in business development and client relationship management. Qualifications 3–7 years of experience at a leading law firm. Experience with venture capital, growth equity, or related corporate transactions. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and project management skills. Strong academic credentials and communication abilities. Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to contribute to practice growth. California bar admission or eligibility for admission. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the California State Bar. Skills Strong leadership and team coordination abilities. Proficiency in managing complex transactions. Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
