Construction Safety Manager Location: Fort Wayne, IN Duration: 2 Years (Start: 7/27) Type: 1099 Contractor Compensation & Schedule Pay Rate: $59.50/hr (Local - No Per Diem) | $48/hr (Non-Local) Overtime: Paid After 40 Hours Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week for Non-Local Candidates) Completion Bonus: $150/month Pay Frequency: Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday (10-Hour Days) | Saturday (8-Hour Day) Start Time: 7:00 AM Approximately 58 Hours Per Week Why This Opportunity? Required Qualifications OSHA 30 Construction Certification Experience working with electrical contractors 3+ years of construction safety experience Preferred Qualifications Data center construction experience NFPA 70E knowledge or experience Experience supporting Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and energized work planning Bilingual (English/Spanish) CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential What You’ll Be Doing Oversee daily safety activities for electrical construction operations Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments Monitor contractor compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements Support electrical installation activities, temporary power systems, and equipment installations Assist with energized work planning and electrical hazard mitigation Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety coaching Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre‑task plans Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records Partner with project supervision to proactively identify and mitigate hazards Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project Candidates Should Have Working Knowledge Of OSHA Construction Standards Electrical Construction Safety Data Center Construction Temporary Power Systems Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Fundamentals Arc Flash & Shock Hazard Awareness Cable Tray & Electrical Equipment Installation Aerial Lifts & MEWPs Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Development Incident Investigation & Root Cause Analysis Contractor Safety Management Construction Risk Assessment & Mitigation What Success Looks Like The ideal candidate is a highly visible, field‑focused safety professional who can build strong relationships with electricians, supervisors, and project leadership while proactively identifying hazards, maintaining compliance, and supporting the safe execution of electrical construction activities throughout this long‑term data center project. #J-18808-Ljbffr Sheakley
