Job Description

The Vice President Operations, TSS is responsible for the overall operational performance and \nexecution of TSS’s security services operations across multiple U.S. port locations. This role \nprovides leadership and oversight of a large, multi-state field organization delivering security \nservices across cruise terminals, cargo facilities, petrochemical sites, and other 24/7 port \nenvironments. \nThe position leads operational management across several regions and is accountable for workforce \nexecution, compliance, safety, operational readiness, and P&L accountability across both seasonal \ncruise operations and year-round security sites. The role oversees approximately one million annual \nlabor hours and manages a geographically distributed operations leadership structure. In addition to \noperational execution, the role carries authority for labor relations across the TSS footprint, serves \nas a principal external representative of TSS to industry, agency, and community stakeholders, and \nshares commercial ownership for the growth and financial performance of the business in \nconjunction with Division Leadership. \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities \nOperational Leadership \n• Provide leadership and oversight for security operations across all assigned regions and \nlocations \n• Develop and refine operational policies, performance standards, and management \naccountability across all locations \n• Lead and develop the field operations leadership teams \n• Ensure operational readiness and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements \n• Identify operational performance gaps and implement corrective actions across locations \n• Identify and share best practices across operating regions \n• Serve as the senior point of escalation for major operational or security incidents across all \nlocations, ensuring timely response, resolution, and client and stakeholder communication \nFinancial Performance & Budget Management \n• Own P&L and operational financial performance across all assigned locations, including \nrevenue, labor cost, margin, and budget performance \n• Develop and manage operational budgets and forecasts \n• Conduct monthly operating reviews including actual-to-budget performance analysis \n• Ensure labor discipline through scheduling standards and overtime control \n• Drive operational improvements that enhance efficiency and financial performance \nWorkforce Management \n• Oversee workforce planning across a large hourly workforce \n• Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, and training processes \n• Maintain scheduling standards and control overtime utilization \n• Partner with HR to maintain consistent employee relations and management practices \n• Successfully operate within a mixed labor environment including union and non-union \nworkforces \n• Develop the operational leadership pipeline, including succession planning, management \ndevelopment, and identification of future operational leaders \n• Partner with Finance, HR, HS&E and Recruiting teams to support workforce planning, \nbudgeting, and operational performance \nLabor Relations \n• Serve as the Company’s senior operational authority for labor relations matters across all \nTSS locations \n• Maintain and develop relationships with organized labor, including applicable unions and port \nlabor organizations \n• Lead collective bargaining preparation, negotiation, and contract administration in \nconjunction with Division Leadership, Human Resources, and Legal, and ensure consistent, \ncompliant application of contract terms at each location \n• Oversee grievance handling, arbitration support, and resolution of labor disputes in a manner \nthat protects operational continuity, and ensure site leadership is trained on contract terms, \nwork rules, and appropriate labor practices \nClient Relationship & Service Delivery \n• Maintain operational alignment with key client relationships across all operating locations \n• Partner closely with Strategic Client leadership to ensure consistent service delivery and \noperational execution \n• Support the company’s largest cruise client relationship through disciplined operational \nperformance and responsiveness \n• Ensure site leadership maintains strong working relationships with client representatives at \neach facility \n2 \nHuman Resources 2026 \n• Address operational issues impacting service delivery and drive timely resolution \n• Support operational readiness for client growth, contract expansion, and new site \ndeployments \nCommercial Ownership and Business Development \n• Share accountability with Division Leadership for the commercial performance and growth of \nTSS, including revenue, retention, and margin expansion \n• Identify, evaluate, and propose new business opportunities, and develop competitive and \ninnovative proposals for new and existing operations, including contributing to the customer \nvalue proposition and pricing strategy for security services, in conjunction with the Division \nLeadership and applicable Finance, Business Development, and HS&E functions \n• Participate in the design, proposal, and implementation of the annual TSS business plan and \ngrowth targets in conjunction with the Division Leadership \n• Own the operational and commercial strategy for contract renewals, rate adjustments, scope \nexpansions, and client retention \nIndustry and External Representation \nCompliance, Safety, and Risk Management \n• Represent TSS at relevant industry events, conferences, and client forums, including \nparticipation in relevant maritime, port, and security association committees and workgroups \n• Maintain relationships and communicate with applicable regulatory agencies, port authorities, \nand law enforcement partners \n• Act as a liaison for community and public outreach in TSS operating regions \n• Ensure TSS operations maintain all required federal, state, local, port authority, client, and \ncontractual security requirements. \n• Maintain operational safety standards across all locations \n• Maintain executive oversight of company security licensing requirements and ensure \nrequired licenses, qualifying individuals, designated managers, registrations, and related \ncredentials remain current across applicable jurisdictions \n• Support regulatory audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective-action programs \n• Maintain oversight of the Company's internal penetration testing program, ensuring regular \ntesting cycles across applicable sites and timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities \nExpansion and Site Launches \n• Lead operational execution for new site launches and expansion projects \n• Establish operational processes and standards that support scalable growth \n• Ensure operational readiness for new contracts and facility deployments \n• Other duties as
