Requirements At least 3 years of relevant professional childcare experience Up-to-date Tdap and flu vaccinations Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Non-smoker Current CPR and First Aid certification Responsibilities Providing attentive care for their 1-year-old son, including play, reading, meals, diapering, and daily routines Creating fun and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning and development Taking him on outings such as walks, trips to the park, and library visits Preparing meals and cleaning up after meals Helping with family laundry, dishes, meal prep, and occasional local errands Supporting the household with additional tasks when time allows About the Family This family has a happy and curious 1-year-old son who enjoys exploring, playing outside, going to the park, and music. They are looking for a nanny who will provide a nurturing and engaging environment while becoming a trusted and consistent part of their household. One or both parents work from home occasionally in a separate office space, and the family values someone who is comfortable working independently, communicating openly, and being a collaborative member of the household. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is warm, patient, creative, and enthusiastic about caring for young children. They are proactive and able to recognize what needs to be done while following the family’s routines and preferences. A strong fit will be reliable, communicative, safety-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable balancing childcare with light family assistant responsibilities.
