About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President, CLO and Structured Credit Ratings professional to take on a leadership role in the analysis and rating of various structured credit transactions. The successful candidate will be the lead analyst responsible for assigning new credit ratings to CLOs and other esoteric structured credit transactions. This pivotal position demands a high level of expertise in both broadly syndicated and middle-market/private credit-related transactions, with a focus on analytical leadership, client engagement, and mentoring junior analysts. The role also involves preparing and presenting detailed committee memos, authoring credit rating reports, and assessing legal, regulatory, and counterparty risks associated with structured credit ratings. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least 7 years of experience in structuring or analyzing CLOs, rated warehouses, and CLO-like financing facilities. A strong interest in credit funds, BDCs, CLOs, private credit, and/or private equity is encouraged. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and demonstrate solid research, analytical, and communication skills. The role requires a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and collaborate effectively with a team. Experience in a rating agency is a plus, as is a background in investment banking, legal counsel focusing on funds-related work, or credit risk management with a focus on credit funds.
