Pricing Analyst

Overview Pricing Analyst — Arlington, VA / Huntsville, AL (Remote). Full-time position in a remote-first environment with headquarters in Arlington, VA and Huntsville, AL. The Pricing Analyst provides insights and guidance on price modeling, strategies, processes and methodologies for cost proposals, competitive analysis, and risk management. Works directly for the Director of Pricing and supports multiple Division Presidents and proposal pricing needs. Coordinates with the VP of Pricing and VP of Proposal Management to strategize proposal pricing responses. May be called upon to support other pricing needs depending on workload. Location : Arlington, VA / Huntsville, AL (Remote) Job Status : Full-time Travel : As Needed Required Qualifications / Skills Minimum of a BA/BS Degree in Business, Accounting/Finance or related field and 3+ years of experience in Federal Government pricing, proposal development and federal contracting with 2+ years of other relative cost/price experience in industry. May substitute AA/AS Degree and 5+ years. Experience with Excel Modeling and various Salary Data Information such as ERI, Salary.com and GS equivalents in labor categories Experience with Proposal Cost Narrative writing/development and justifications Ability to understand and validate proposal price volume deliverables Experience working with all phases of solicitation processes such as RFI, RFP responses and negotiations Knowledge of all contract types including FFP, CPFF, CPAF and T&M Familiarity with Government Cost Accounting Principles and FAR Part 31 Ability to brief details of pricing modeling used in the RFP to Senior Management to justify our winning strategy Preferred Qualifications / Skills DOD experience highly desired Experience working with executives and senior management Experience integrating MS Power BI, Power Pivot, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint into pricing-related objectives Responsibilities Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Perform business and management tasks in Pricing with minimal supervision Prepare timely, accurate and compliant cost and business proposals in response to customer requests Participate in the proposal pricing process, including: Develop complex cost models and detailed cost narratives based on RFP requirements Develop pricing strategy; quantify pricing risks, calculate effective operational margins, influence competitive pricing approaches Work closely with Capture Manager, Technical Staff and other functional departments to ensure accuracy and coordination of cost proposals Review, analyze, and compile labor and subcontract cost data; analyze estimates of labor, material, equipment, and other direct costs; compare with previous cost experience and recommend adjustments; prepare cost volumes Participate in pricing review with upper management and coordinate with senior staff to determine pricing structure and strategy Support audits and participate in cost proposal clarifications or negotiations Utilize processes and tools that result in compliant/quality pricing proposals and follow all estimating system processes #J-18808-Ljbffr Astrion
