We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Ocean Springs, MS area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians work, manage outside orders, ensure quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and safeguard team members’ safety. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers deliver timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, drive sales initiatives, communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide repair information, and strive to meet expectations. Qualifications To be eligible for the position, you must be at least 18 years of age, legally authorized to work in the United States, and possess either: 1) at least one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales; 2) at least one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance; or 3) a combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
