Technician (Process), Operations

Merck seeks a Process Technician for manufacturing and packaging operations at its Wilson, North Carolina facility. The role involves executing daily production tasks, operating equipment, maintaining compliance with GMP standards, and collaborating with teams to ensure safe, high-quality product output.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain manufacturing and packaging equipment while following GMP and standard operating procedures
- Perform equipment setup, cleaning, line clearance, and visual inspections of products and work areas
- Monitor equipment performance and product quality; identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Complete production documentation promptly and accurately to meet data integrity requirements
- Participate in compliance training, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing and/or packaging operations
- Proficiency with hands-on processing and production control activities
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and distinguish fine details
- Commitment to health, safety, and compliance procedures
