Details Work in an 8-bed Burn Unit treating burn patients across Med/Surg, intermediate care, and ICU levels of care Also cares for immediate post-op and general medical/surgical ICU patients Patient ratios range from 1:2 to 1:3 Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, and 1 wound tech; night shift includes 1 charge nurse and 3 RNs Uses GE monitors and Plum IV pumps Charting is done in Meditech Shift schedule runs from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM 13-week assignment Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of current ICU RN experience required No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted) One professional reference required Additional Information Provide resuscitation and care for critical burn patients through acute and recovery phases Perform ICU assessments, ventilator management, fluid resuscitation, wound care, and pain management Team-oriented environment requiring strong communication skills Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-769093.
