Don't miss out - apply today and start your journey with Team Apex!Job SummaryAs a Lab Analyst, you will perform and document routine and specialized laboratory tasks in both our Chemistry and Microbiology labs. You'll play a key role in supporting our water treatment operations by analyzing environmental samples, conducting quality control tests, and assisting with cutting-edge research that directly contributes to our success. Your work will help ensure the highest standards in our water treatment processes.Essential Job Responsibilities:Perform quality control tests on Apex productsPerform laboratory testing on water treatment-related samples - typical equipment involved includes ion chromatography (IC), inductively coupled plasma (ICP), spectrophotometers, and wet method testsPerform corrosion coupon and deposit analysesAssist with reagent inventory managementProvide laboratory support such as daily calibration of balances, maintain instrument use manuals, and maintain general use forms and labelsPrepare solutions and reagents, general laboratory record keeping and cleaning, and assist with inventory on an as-needed basisAdhere to and support all safety policies and guidelinesPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or BiologyExperience working in a laboratory settingStrong qualitative and quantitative analysis skills, with a solid understanding of laboratory techniques and equipmentAbility to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and high standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and document findingsStrong computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems and techniques in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated team player who demonstrates integrity, leadership ability, and strong social skillsPreferred Qualifications:IC and ICP experienceExperience working in a Chemistry lab settingCompensation & Benefits:The anticipated hourly rate for this position is between $21 - $24 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
