Job Description
LTC LVN/LPN

Schedule

Shift options: 4x12 Variable or 3x12 Variable (traveler's choice). Day or Night shifts available. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks. Requests for time off (RTO) are restricted to no more than 1 week for a 13-week contract and no more than 2 weeks for a 26-week contract. Must be willing to work winter holidays.

Assignment Details

Contract length: Traveler's choice of 13 or 26 weeks. Local candidates not accepted; a permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Requirements

• Alaska LVN/LPN license in hand.
• Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care (LTC) experience required.
• Prior travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with feeding tubes, Foley catheter care, Accuchecks, IV hydration, respiratory treatments, wound care, and dementia care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Long Term Care setting.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to healthcare team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and rehabilitation.
• Document patient care and respond to patient needs effectively.

Compliance / Notes

Background checks and compliance guidelines will be followed. Facility parking details provided upon hire. Additional certifications may be required during orientation.
