Its Business‑in‑a‑Box platform integrates revenue cycle management, accounting and finance, human resources, EHR support, payer contracting, compliance, supply‑chain logistics, and data intelligence. Overview The position is for physicians who wish to establish or transition into an independently operated medical practice while receiving structured operational support for non‑clinical business functions from MedCBO. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical administrative and operational support. Physicians govern clinical operations, clinical decisions, and patient‑care policies. MedCBO does not direct patient care. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope Develop professional relationships within the medical community Coordinate payer credentialing with MedCBO as required Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Billing and collections management Payer contract negotiation Financial infrastructure and reporting Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation (EHR, telehealth, clinical workflow systems) Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support Supply chain and vendor coordination Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
