CT Technologist

A CT Technologist provides high-quality computed tomography imaging to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. They operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic procedures following established protocols and under the supervision of the Imaging Director.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT imaging, ensuring optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients during procedures, responding to their needs and ensuring safety standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to deliver accurate diagnostic results.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized imaging environment in compliance with safety policies.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in accordance with confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited radiology technology program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with current licensure in the state.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime and participate in call rotations.
• Maintain current BLS certification and meet continuing education requirements.
• Possess knowledge of age-related patient care issues, especially pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Showcase strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
