Direct Sales Agent Specialist (Direct Auto Insurance) The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for profitable growth by driving new business sales and building trust with customers. The role includes attracting new customers, cross‑selling existing ones, and maintaining a book of business within the market/retail location. Sales are conducted with walk‑in customers, marketing calls, in‑person visits, and community relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Drive new business sales and achieve business goals.
• Build rapport and trust with customers.
• Attract and generate new customers and cross‑sell to existing ones.
• Market products outside the office via calls and community visits.
• Retain and grow the book of business within the retail location.

Minimum Qualifications 0–2 years of experience. Property & Casualty licensing (preferred) or ability to obtain required licensure within 90 days of hire. Preferred Skills and Competencies Successful sale of insurance and ancillary products. Exceeds sales goals through new product sales and cross‑sell/retention. Leverages community contacts for sales pipeline and builds referral sources. Initiates outbound calling to target customer base. Monitors local competition and suggests market improvement initiatives. Collaborates with Sales Leadership on marketing and sales processes. Delivers results within quality, productivity, and financial performance metrics. Remains current on underwriting guidelines and policy changes. Manages cash drawer receipts and customer payments.
