Pay Rate: $14.90 / Hour Job Schedule: Thursday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or drivers by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control duties, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk location. Monitor entry activity, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor logs, and communicate with site contacts regarding arrivals, departures, and approved access. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site protocols. Answer phones, greet guests, and provide directions and general assistance while helping to support security‑related policies and front desk operations. Observe lobby and reception area activity, document relevant information, and elevate concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
