Phlebotomist - Float

Phlebotomist Float Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team covering Westminster to South Burlington in South Burlington, VT. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, scheduled hours vary between 7:30am-4:30pm, with rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program. Or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency if no work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record with reliable transportation. Be at least 21 years old. Pay Information Pay Range: $17.75 - $20.00 per hour Float incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement. Benefits Employees scheduled at least 20 hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule eligible for all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
