Receiving Clerk

Rate: $18.47

Schedule M-F 7am-3:30pm with OT

Location: San Fernando Valley

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role involves managing incoming shipments, verifying orders, and ensuring accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and works collaboratively with other departments. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including both cold and hot environments. Forklift experience is a plus but not required; training can be provided for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.

Record and report discrepancies or damaged goods to the appropriate personnel.

Unload, organize, and store products in designated storage areas.

Maintain accurate inventory records by updating databases and filing paperwork.

Collaborate with procurement and other teams to resolve receiving issues.

Ensure cleanliness and safety in the receiving area.

Operate pallet jacks or forklifts as needed (training provided if applicable).

Perform job duties outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring safe practices at all times.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 40 lbs.).

Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Comfortable working outdoors in both cold and hot weather.

Forklift experience is a must
