Job Title: Production Associate Job Description

The Production Associate plays a key role in manufacturing coils and assembling finished products, including performing assigned soldering processes. This position supports the full production cycle by building products according to documented specifications, ensuring consistent quality, and assisting with material movement across workstations in a clean, modern manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture coils and assemble finished products in accordance with production control documentation and process specifications.

• Perform soldering of components, configuration of cabling, and wiring tasks; training will be provided for all soldering and configuration processes.

• Use small hand tools to assemble and wind small parts with a focus on precision and accuracy.

• Ensure all work meets current quality requirements and comply with all Quality System standards for assigned tasks.

• Document time accurately to appropriate manufacturing orders and follow established production rules.

• Assist with the movement of materials through workstations to support efficient product flow.

• Properly label all bins and trays to maintain clear organization of materials and components.

• Inspect products and assemblies to verify conformance to specifications and identify any defects.

• Cross-train across multiple areas on the production floor, including assembly, soldering, wiring, and mechanical tasks.

• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

• Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 20–30 pounds as needed during production activities.

• Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement and contribute ideas for production solutions.

• Strong hand dexterity and comfort working with small parts and components.

• Ability to use small hand tools for assembly and winding of small parts.

• Capacity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.

• Demonstrated reliability with consistent attendance and strong work tenure.

• Ability to lift and move 20–30 pounds safely during routine production tasks.

• Willingness and ability to cross-train across assembly, soldering, wiring, and mechanical functions.

• Attention to detail and commitment to meeting documented production and quality requirements.

• Effective teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with others on the production floor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Entry-level production experience is welcome when combined with strong hand dexterity and willingness to learn.

• Experience in general production, mechanical assembly, inspection, or related manufacturing roles is beneficial.

• Comfort working with hand tools and following detailed work instructions.

• Interest in electronics, semiconductor, military, or commercial product manufacturing environments.

• Ability to contribute ideas and input toward process improvements and production solutions.

Work Environment

The role is based on an open-concept manufacturing floor with separate workstations for each employee, where products flow from station to station in a structured process. The facility is bright and clean, focused on quality high-frequency power assemblies and custom coils for multiple industries. The typical shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with Fridays available for overtime as needed. Work involves standing at individual workstations, using small hand tools, handling materials up to 20–30 pounds, and working closely with a team in a well-organized production setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Concord, NH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
