Job Overview A law firm seeks a Construction Defect Associate in Los Angeles. This hybrid role offers remote work flexibility, requiring two days per week in the office. The position involves representing developers, general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and material suppliers in various commercial and residential construction cases. Duties Attend court hearings and participate in site inspections. Handle all aspects of construction claims, including discovery and depositions. Manage client communications throughout litigation. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Active member of the California State Bar in good standing. Experience with construction defect cases is required. Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written. Strong legal research and writing skills with attention to detail. Litigation experience with a proactive team player attitude.
