Job Duties

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients through inbound and outbound phone calls and email communication.
• Answer patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service while resolving concerns efficiently.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient information using pharmacy applications and vendor platforms.
• Collaborate with patients, pharmacies, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to support patient care.
• Follow up on patient inquiries and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Protect patient information and maintain compliance with HIPAA, state, federal, and company confidentiality standards.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally with a focus on first-contact resolution.
• Maintain productivity and service standards within a contact center environment.
• Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Accurately document interactions and maintain detailed records of patient communications.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional customer service, business, or office training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Retail, call center, or pharmacy experience preferred.
• 2+ years of call center experience or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to provide professional, courteous, and solution-focused customer service.
• Experience using computers, business software, and data entry systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
• Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data entry tasks throughout the workday.
