Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active New Jersey PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred. Prior experience assisting with transfers, gait training, and therapeutic exercise preferred. Client requires ability to work with residents who may have complex medical needs, including dementia and post-acute care.
